Scissors

Lightweight cardboard (cereal boxes work great!)

How to:
Make 2 identical triangles out of the light cardboard.
Lay one triangle on top of the other to make a six-point
star. Glue or staple into place.
Repeat step 1 to make several stars of different sizes.
Paint one side of the star and sprinkle glitter on it
while the paint is still wet. When dry, flip the star
over and paint, with a contrasting color, and glitter the
other side.
Punch a hole at the top of each star. Optional: you can
punch a hole at the bottom of the star also if you want
to have two stars hanging together.
Using the wire coat hanger as your frame, loop yarn
through the hole in the star and attach to the coat
hanger.
