Lime & Cloves for the Nose

Supplies:

Lime or Lemon
Cinnamon
Whole cloves
Ribbon
Waxed paper

How to:

  1. Choose a large lime or lemon and wash and dry it.
  2. Cover your work surface with waxed paper.
  3. Very carefully, push the pointed ends of the cloves into the fruit until it is entire covered with cloves. TIP: you may need to start the hole with the tip of a pencil.
  4. Sprinkle lots of cinnamon over the cloves. Be sure to do this over the waxed paper to catch the excess. You can roll the fruit around in the excess, but be sure not to break the cloves.
  5. Tie a pretty ribbon around the fruit and make a big bow at the top. (You may want to tie another ribbon around the fruit so it won't slip out.)
  6. Hang the fruit in the kitchen.
